My name is Eli Martin, I was born in West Plains Missouri on Sept. 28, 1991. Since I was a baby I have lived in the small town of Thayer Missouri until I moved up to Springfield to attend college at Missouri State University to play football. After a few reconstructive surgeries on my shoulders I decided to just be a college student here at OTC. While I was growing up I lived in Thayer so I had to keep myself busy, my buddies and I were always hunting, and fishing. We would always stay out at my farm and some of my buddies farms and had our hunting camps all the time. That, to me was more fun than than the actual hunt this is where we just sat around, visited and played cards for hours on end.

I'm really sorry that you were unable to play football. I hope that you are enjoying OTC and I hope you have a great time in this class. You talking about your good times on the farm makes me think about my grandpa's farm that I love so much. Good Luck this semester.
That is awesome about being interested in football and also hunting. I can relate to your camps and how much fun it can be at times when you're around the right people. Hopefully we'll share a camp fire story or two over the semester. Good luck!
It is a shame that you are no longer able to play football and that you have had to have so much surgery at such a young age. I am sure you will excel at whatever you choose to do. Have a good semester!
Hey! Sorry to hear you cant play anymore, that must suck! It is cool you like hanging out at your farm, I love being at my grandma's farm. Playing cards is fun too, but I am still in the learning process! Hope to get to know you!
Hey, man I like to hunt and fish too. That's too bad you had problems with your shoulders.
well thats really cool that you played football but the sucky part i bet was all of the shoulder surgeries! I'am glad to hear that your doing better, and life on the farm and be really fun at times!
I know how you feel about living in a small town trying to find things to do. I've done a bit of hunting growing up in Rogersville, and staying on a farm. I've spent a few hours there myself. Sorry to hear that you couldn't continue your football career at MSU.
So sorry to hear about your shoulders. But I hope that you are enjoying your time at OTC and Im glad to see your feeling better
Life takes us to all kinds of different places, I hope you have fun were ever it takes you, and I have never been hunting but it sounds like you really like it.
