.) He talked alot about the location of the dumpster, weather or not its in a residential area or near a college campus. He also talked about not keeping everything you find. Make sense of the things you need and get rid of the rest. Eighner says in the story that the best way to get the good stuff at the bottom of the Dumpster is to lower yourself in.
.) The foods that Eighner ate the most of were: yogurt, pizza, canned foods. Also foods that were dry: crackers, chips, candy or individually wrapped. The food that he typically stayed away from were: Veggie juices, poultry, eggs, fish, ethnic foods or things he didnt know what it was.
.)Dumpster Diver's look for the essentials, food, drink, blankets, household goods. A can scrounger shuffle through the cans and make big messes therefore ruining the things that can be salvaged for the divers to use.
.) Cats, bees, fire ants, and maggots.
.)People that are more fortunate then he is dont realize how good they have it. By him saying "I feel sorry for them", he's saying that they need to open their eyes and see how much they throw away on a daily basis.
.)The tone is very informative, who knew that someone could write that much on dumpster diving? The tone was light, easy to understand and picture how it feels and things essential things you can salvage from others trash.
